The Other Side of the Fence, Stary Mwaba

Stary Mwaba has recently been selected to participate in  Bisi Silva’s Centre for Contemporary Art Project in Ghana this coming May. This is a great opportunity for Stary, and the stART Foundation has agreed to assist Stary to raise the funds he needs to participate.

The 37d Gallery will be having an exhibition of some of Stary’s latest works as a special feature in our On-Going Exhibition. The sale of these works will contribute to the funds needed by Stary to participate in the Centre for Contemporary Art project.

The stART Foundation will also be hosting an exhibition of Emerging Talents in May:  from the 6th to the 10th, the theme of which is ‘Movement’. The new, young artists whose works will be presented are:  David Makala, Natasha Evans, Emmanuel Chibaye, Mulenga Mulenga, Tom Phiri and Rabson Phiri. These artists have been producing some outstanding works for the exhibition, which range from drawing and painting to sculpture and printmaking.
